A great option for a family that needs an ultra-portable and durable double stroller is the Mountain Buggy Duet 2016 Double Stroller. After testing and repeated everyday use, we’re proud to say this stroller is officially mom-approved, and this Mountain Buggy Duet 2016 Double Stroller Review will show you why.
Product Overview
This side-by-side double stroller is the same width as the average one-seat stroller, allowing for easy entry and exit of buildings. This feature gives the Mountain Buggy a maneuverability and transportability not often available for double strollers. This sleek design is accompanied by a simple one-handed fold and tough engineering to withstand rough mountain trails and busy city streets.
Benefits
The biggest benefit of this stroller over other double strollers is the skinny design. Most double strollers can’t fit in most standard doorways, making errands with kids difficult. The Mountain Buggy eliminates this issue by being the width of the average single stroller. This stroller comes packed with plenty of other unique and impressive features. The independently adjustable seats worked wonders for letting one child nap as the other sat upright to eat or play, and the fabric lining the seats were reversible (this feature definitely came in handy for spills in public and easy cleaning). The handlebar has a wide array of positions, ranging from 31 to 42 inches high to accommodate any driver height. The tough, thick tires took on beaches and trails with gusto, and was especially good at transitioning over curbs. The stroller has lots of storage under the seat, and we loved how we could store the entire diaper bag with ease. It was incredibly light and easy to move from street to trunk, and we even could carry it up the stairs without difficulty.
Specifications
This stroller is 44 inches by 24.5 inches by 45.5 inches, and weighs in at a breezy 25 pounds. The seats are manufactured with 600d fabric for a super soft and luxurious seat for the kids, and a UPF 50+ hood to block out dangerous UV radiation. The gear tray can hold up to 11 pounds of weight comfortably.
This stroller is uber-adjustable. The handlebar swivels between 31 and 42 inches high rather than coming in a certain set number of positions, allowing for fine-tuned adjustability for the perfect fit. The independently adjustable seats worked wonders to help one kid stay sleeping when the other woke up. It was very easy to fold, and we could fold it up with a single hand. When in motion, the stroller felt very stable due to the dual front tires, but the stability did not sacrifice maneuverability. The sturdy frame and powerful wheels helped this stroller take on a wide array of surfaces with ease. The reversible seat liners boosted convenience and were easy to clean, and our kids appreciated the super soft fabric.
